Taylor History  

Richard Taylor has been in the trucking industry for the majority of his life as his parents have. They are three generations and still going strong.  Now Richard, along with his wife Sheila, own one of the largest heavy hauling companies in California.

Richard, Sheila, and their son, Dusty, manage the ongoing day to day business operations there.  Based out of Antelope, California , Taylor Heavy Hauling does business primarily in California but also in Oregon, Washington, Arizona  and Nevada.

Taylor Heavy Hauling has transported the Hubbell Space Telescope, Atlas Rockets, Bridge Pilings weighing 277,000 pounds each, Tub Girders for the San Francisco Expansion Project, Vintage Locomotive and Train Cars for the movie Back to the Future.

Taylor Heavy Hauling has also moved various railroad museums, Coal Boxes, and miscellaneous construction equipment.

Taylor Heavy Hauling has over 40 lowbed combinations up to 15 axles with unlimited tonnage.


Taylor Heavy Hauling can haul cast pipe from 12 to 144 with self unloading trailers available.
